Curriculum
Ismaele Gatti was born in Como in 1998. He undertook piano studies at the age of five with Alessandro Bares. Two years later he was admitted to the Conservatory of his hometown in the class of Roberto Stefanoni. He then graduated in Piano and Organ with masters Ugo Federico and Enrico Viccardi, respectively.
He continued his studies at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, where he earned a Master's degree in Performance and a Master's degree in Specialized Music Performance in Organ with Stefano Molardi. With the same teacher he completed a post-training course in Harpsichord.
He carries out an intense concert activity, which has led him to perform on numerous occasions on organ, piano and harpsichord in Italy and abroad (Spain, England, France, Norway, Germany, Switzerland). In 2021 he performed as soloist with the Orchestra of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, performing two concertos for organ and orchestra by Haendel under the direction of Lorenzo Ghielmi. He has collaborated with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, I Barocchisti, Il Coro della RSI and other leading institutions in the international music scene. He has been awarded prizes in numerous international piano, organ and chamber music competitions, most notably the "Gottfried Silbermann Orgelwettbewerb" in Freiberg (Germany, 2019) and the "Bach-Preis" in Wiesbaden (Germany, 2023).
Recordings of his live concerts have been broadcast by Italian Swiss Radio and Television (RSI).
He is artistic director of the Festival “Rassegna Organistica Altolariana” (Italy) and the Festival"Giovani Musicisti in Leventina” (Switzerland) as well as a member of the ROSI Committee (Rassegna Organistica della Svizzera Italiana).
He is principal Organist at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Alpnach (Obwalden, CH) and collaborates as Korrepetitor with numerous choral ensembles in Switzerland.
Since 2023 he has been piano accompanist at the Music School of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana.
